Muita gente foi pega de surpresa nas últimas semanas e precisou levar o trabalho para casa, chamamos de “home office“.
Só pra contextualizar, no dia de hoje (1/4/2020) o mundo enfrenta uma pandemia do coronavírus e isso trouxe a recomendação de que as pessoas não saiam de casa (#stayhome #fiqueemcasa #lockdown)…
As empresas então passaram a oferecer o home office como opção (ou obrigação). Tem gente que precisou também do home office porque as escolas estão fechadas e a recomendação é que as crianças não fiquem com os avós, os mais vulneráveis à doença.
Eu sou adepta do home office já tem muitos anos. Desde que eu comecei minha carreira como jornalista eu já tinha parte do meu trabalho em casa… Mas há cerca de dois anos eu passei a fazer isso de maneira integral!
Eu passei a defender a bandeira do home office como um estilo de vida e uma opção de trabalho, porém tudo de uma forma consciente e muito focada.
Eu já fiz alguns vídeos sobre o trabalho freelancer e home office e inclusive eu divulgo nesses vídeos um livro que ensina tudo que você precisa saber caso você queira se tornar um “home officer”.
Bom, mas voltando ao assunto da pandemia, acontece que muita gente precisou recorrer a isso e claro, quem tem acompanhado as reportagens na TV já deve ter visto algum vídeo de trabalhadores em casa.
Eu vi alguns e vou descrever a cena: os pais sentados na mesa da sala de jantar, em um notebook, às vezes um tablet ou celular. As crianças maiores jogadas no sofá da sala, com celular em mãos, a TV ligada em algum desenho e os mais novinhos correndo de um lado pro outro, subindo na cadeira da sala e dando aquele cutucão no computador do pai…
Em meio a tudo isso, vi uma autoridade digital postar algo mais ou menos assim: “precisou de uma pandemia para as pessoas acreditarem no home office”. Mas aí que tá.
Eu vendo as tais reportagens e até o depoimento de alguns conhecidos sobre como tem sido a experiência, eu acredito que muita gente não vai entender a verdadeira essência de home office: que não basta levar trabalho pra casa e querer administrar tudo ao mesmo tempo.
Desse jeito, acho que ninguém vai acreditar que de fato é possível trabalhar em casa, trabalhar online e ter a tão sonhada liberdade que o home office oferece. Por isso eu quero falar pra você agora o que não te contaram sobre trabalhar em casa!

O que não te contaram sobre home office (e minhas dicas para você!):
#1 Trabalhar em home office não significa simplesmente trabalhar em casa, mas significa que você vai ter seu escritório de trabalho dentro da sua casa.
Isso vai te permitir não precisar sair, enfrentar trânsito e com isso você ganhar mais qualidade de vida.
Você não vai precisar se produzir tanto, porque estará sozinho. Apesar de que eu defendo que é necessário que todos os dias você tenha uma rotina, tire o pijama, penteie o cabelo, tenha roupas de trabalho, ainda que você possa usar um chinelo em dias de calor ou uma pantufa quentinha em dias de frio, usar bermuda, por exemplo, que para alguns não é permitido no ambiente formal.
#2 Você precisará de privacidade
O ideal para um homeoffice é ter um cômodo separado para você trabalhar.
Você vai precisar contar com sua família em seu período de trabalho, sem interrupções, sem conversa mole, sem barulho exagerado, sem pedidos de favor quando está trabalhando…
Antes de se tornar um “homeofficer”, você precisa saber se você vai conseguir superar tudo isso e ter qualidade e produtividade em seu trabalho.
#3 Você precisa de equipamentos ergonômicos
Não basta sentar na mesa da cozinha e passar horas diante do notebook.
Minha experiência: no primeiro mês que eu me dediquei exclusivamente ao home office, eu tinha apenas uma mesinha dessas de lanchonete. Ao final de um mês, minha lombar doía insistentemente e minhas pernas estavam extremamente cansadas.
Não estou dizendo que você deva gastar fortunas com móveis planejados, mas uma cadeira confortável e uma mesa de altura adequado são o mínimo que você para trabalhar. Isso vale para quem é freelancer, para quem é homeofficer CLT e até mesmo para você que tem seu negócio digital.
Invista em sua saúde se possível antes mesmo de começar ou então faça como eu, no meu primeiro rendimento, eu corri para um outlet de móveis de escritório e criei esse cantinho aqui…
#4 Você precisa de equipamentos adequados
Quando você começar trabalhar em casa, vai perceber que muitas vezes o computador que você tem não é muito adequado… De acordo com a necessidade de cada profissão, você vai precisar de softwares específicos, capacidade de processamento e segurança.
Tenha um bom antivírus, faça sempre revisões em seu computador, mantenha arquivos importantes armazenados em backup e em nuvem.
E lembre-se também da segurança física, ou seja, tenha tomadas adequadas ao seu equipamento e tenha segurança patrimonial, como cercas e até um possível seguro contra roubo e furto. Já pensou de um dia pro outro perder tudo?
#5 Você precisa seguir um expediente
Vai por mim, se você não tiver uma rotina, inclusive de horários, você corre um grande risco de deixar o trabalho para depois e ficar sobrecarregado. Ou ainda, trabalha muito mais do que o necessário e aí você perderá a qualidade de vida que você tanto queria…
#6 Não há problemas em ter seu filhos em casa…
…mas eu preciso te dizer que vai ser bem mais difícil trabalhar se você for o tempo todo interrompido.
Se a criança ainda é serelepe, talvez contar com a ajuda de alguém pra cuidar dela nos momentos mais críticos e que exigem atenção, ligações, contato com a empresa e com clientes, pode ser uma opção mais coerente.
Outra questão que eu acho muito importante é que de nada adianta se a gente manter o filho em casa, porém não ter tempo de qualidade com essa criança. Aí a criança passa o dia solitária, sem atividades de estímulo e somente consumindo jogos e vídeos, por exemplo.
Esse é outro caso que vale pensar se não tem uma opção melhor para ela, como uma brinquedoteca, creche ou um cuidador.
